Dr. Rachel Elfert - Veterinarian

Dr. Rachel Elfert is a native of Slidell, Louisiana.

She attended undergrad at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and earned her doctorate degree at the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been immersed in animal care her whole life. As a second-generation veterinarian, she grew up working in her mother's veterinary hospital.

She is excited to explore the panhandle and looks forward to meeting all of our Ark family. She has an interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine.

In her free time, she loves to take walks with her two furry canine kids, Ruby and Daisy. She also loves scuba diving, exercising, going to the beach, time with friends and quiet evening!
