Steven Williamson - Veterinarian

Steven Williamson grew up in Birmingham, AL, and has wanted to work with animals since he was very young.

His passion for conservation and zoo medicine lead him to obtain a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Sciences from Auburn University. He has practiced in the Birmingham area since he earned his DVM from Auburn.

His love of the outdoors, kayaking, scuba diving, and horseback riding, along with a love of art and photography, has led him to the coast.

He is a huge nerd and has been sorted into Gryffindor. He enjoys spending time with his rescue pup Aurora and taking care of his fish.

His professional interests include: internal medicine, dermatology, and nutrition. He believes the human-animal bond and the practice of One-Health are the best parts of being a veterinarian.
